Billic - England can win it

Following Croatia's 5-1 humilitaion from England the Croatia manager Slavan Billic has come out and stated that England can win the World Cup next Summer.

Does anyone agree with this statement?

Personally I think England still have some way to go to match the Spain's and Brazil's of this world.

Much as I wanted my first post to be an angry raging disagreement of someones views, I have to say you have it bang on.
Spain made us look ordinary when we met them, and although last night was excelent, you could see certain situations where if Iniesta and Xavi were hovering around we could have been in trouble.
No need for panic though, the right man is in charge and we are heading in the right direction.

England always had a superb team but they never really started playing their own way. Think next year it's going to happen. I trully believe that they will reach the semis... Oh, and one question: Do you think Becks is worth entering the squad? Cause i think that's a big NO. :roll:

With Milner, Wright Phiilips and Walcott playing on the right he should have no chance. If Capello selects him it will be because he feels sorry for him. Those 3 players who I mentioned are the future, Becks has had his chances at the world cups.

We have got a great team some of the players are near the best in the world. But I just don't see us winning it. As soon as we draw a Spain/Brazil type team we will go out.

But who knows miracles can happen. :D
