Just want to see if people like Man City. (Not Man City Fans)
I remember when Chelsea started to sign major players and went to a team people hated.
I didn't mind Man City buy now I hate them as they are showing that you can just buy your way to the top.
So what do you think about City?

As I am Utd fan both sets of fans never really got on, but I didn't really hate them like Liverpool.
This year they are getting on everyones nerves the way they are going about things i.e. the 'welcome to manchester' advertisment board in manchester.
Childish behaviour.
Never liked them and think i'll never do. There's only one super MANCHESTER club and that is United. No money could ever change that.
Im not to fussed about Manchester City, It does seem like all this money has gone to their heads though. They are definitely the new villians in the League.

I can't stand them, there a small club they suddenly get loads of money and now they think they have the right to be branded a "Big" team. I hope it backfires I really do, teams coming under rich ownership and attempting to buy success will ruin football unless something is done.

I predict one of these teams that have a sugar daddys will crash and burn one day. Ive got a funny felling it will be City.
It will all go to their heads.

They are a decent club with good fans. It makes me laugh when they are hated for having money, as if any of us would turn it down.
Most haters are childish.
Its the way you carry your self that makes you who you are, not what you have in the bank.
True in life, true in football.
Get over it.
Right first of, Manchester City? Their whole club is artificial and it's a sad day for their true fans with what little true success/history they have. It's like with most well established clubs around the world, they work from the ground up building a good squad to having good backroom staff. There's nothing genuine about their club anymore apart from their transactions (note: this doesn't include when Thaksin Shinawatra was spending, I think we all know he was corrupt!).
Like Manchester United broke Arsenals (much much better) unbeaten run a few years ago, I can see this being the start of a few chips in Manchester Citys 'armour'. They'll finish top 10 my prediction - I've already voted for the top 4 staying the same in this forum.
Anyhow, back to the question in hand - Do I like Man City now? Never. But as said above, I don't hate them as I do Liverpool. I'm happy Man City has a raised profile, it just goes to show Manchester is the capital of the world for football, however, for football in general this isn't good.
The Premierships richest club and the Premierships finest club fought head to head today, and the results? I guess Mastercard were wrong when they said money can buy you everything. Money can't buy you everything, as Man City now know - Glory glory Manchester United (Priceless)!

I can see City probably getting a Europa League place. As a Wigan fan our major rivals are Bolton/Blackburn but I would love to get one over on City this year as they are annoying me to death.

Hear hear.
I agree with Kiz entirely. To be honest now City have raised their profile it makes the Manchester Derby more interesting and I bet the neutrals will be hoping for a similar game at Eastlands.
However with the success and history of Utd and Liverpool and the fact that they are competing for most League titles etc, this is still No1 game for me.
